What's with all the hype about it yet? I don't understand it all. People looking at the bike side of the motor? If that's the case, what happened in 01 with all the "bike side" of the Raptor? Sorry, I mean if it is all that, great, but if the hype is just hype, then.................

I'm extremely curious myself. My buddy was going to sell his Raptor to get a Predator. Now he is going to sit on his cash and see what this bike is all about. I might think about one myself, but after the Raptor, I'm actually a little scared of Yamaha's new quads.

All the video proves is that the yammy goes around a track by itself. Don't get me wrong, I think it's going to rip but, where was it's competition. Any one of the newer four strokes could look like that on the track. I wanna see it go head to head against another quad! Can't wait to see how it compares against a pred!

Rode the new yamaha today, I didn't get a chance to really open it up, I was just in a little area behind a dealer, you can definetly tell the difference in the weight. It was not very comfortable for me, I'm 6'2", so I felt rather cramped on it, for me the handlebars are too close to you and too low and the footpegs need to be a couple inches lower. The seat is very similar to the predator seat, HARD! The motor seems very responsive and revs quickly, can't wait to see one in the dunes where there is room to open it up.
