Hey how many of you are running with no discs and no spark arrestor plate on your Pure Polaris pipe??? I just tested it out today on my bike. Took everything off of the pipe and just put the chrome colored end back on. It really seemed to pull a hell of alot more like this, but the popping in the top end seems worse. What do you guys think? Is it a good idea to run it like this? I have no concern with noise... I currently run K&N clamp on and a 170 main, needle bumped up one. Do I need to jet up?

Thanks, Sean

I run a 180 main jet, I have the K&N clamp on and the WB exhaust pipe. I tried it several ways. I tried with no discs and without the end cap, discs with no end cap and the 8 disks with spark arrestor with end cap. I found it to run the best with the discs and hte spark arrestor. I don't know if it has to do with the back pressure or what, but it's very noticeable. Last friday I ordered some more discs to use with the spark arrestor. I think this will be a better way to get it to flow more, yet keep the back pressure. Try 12 discs total and see what happens.
