my left foot peg bent back toward the rear tire. there are no marks where something hit it and i don't recall hitting anything to cause it to bend. should the warranty cover this?

when I broke my ball joint the dealer said he would cover it only if there is no external damage from a blow....sounds like that is the basic theory they use maybe it will be covered.
