I have a question especially for those who live in California. Where did you place your Green License sticker? The State says to place on the left rear, but there is no place really to put the sticker there.

Any suggestions?

I am still thinking about where to put my wisconsin stickers, they are about 3x3" and they say to put them one on each side forward of the operator where its clearly visible. That pretty much says I have to put it on the side of the tank but I was thinking about putting it on the front fender about where my knees are instead. That would be facing the rear as best as you could hope for and it would be fairly visible. The only other option for you would be somewhere on the airbox or next to the back of the seat (facing up).

I was thinking on the battery or air canister. Only problem is if battery breaks from a roll over or something and on the air canister is I remove to the K&N clamp/on. I guess I could cut off and tape on or carry if either of those things happened. Where is UM, I'd like to see that battery cover, that might help.

I live in CA too and put mine on the left rear fender right next to the seat where it is recessed. You cant really see it unless you are really looking for it and I have not had any probelms with the Rangers, yet.....

For those of you also in California, you all do have green stickers. I was pretty pist when my red sticker came in and the only way I can ride it in most places right now is because I haven't put it on yet. Just carry around the temporary. Red stickers are prohibited to use during summer months in a lot of places. Please tell me DMV made a mistake. If not, do you just dodge rangers? Or what do you do?

If you got a red sticker what is the 8th # in you vin if not 3 or c you can go to dmv and have it fixed you should have green unless you have the 3 or c. They did that on one of the three I bought and all of them have a A as as the 8th # I took it to the dmv with the reg on the other 2 bike and ask whats up they said sorry and gave me my green sticker.

Thanks gottitanium. Yeah, I got an A as the 8th digit. 3or C must be 2-stroke i'm guessin. I called up DMV and said they made a mistake. now I just gotta go in and exchange it. Makes me wonder though if there's a chance they'll make sport quads red stickers too.

I always find a decent spot to place the Michigan ORV Stickers on the Back of the Air Box. I figure that when they check the Db level they will see the sticker. (It's about 4"x3")
It's usually not to noticable but this year it happens to be a pretty pinkish color!!
