I took my carb apart and cut the 5 rins off of the spring in there. Where are these 2 holes to drill out 1/32 size bigger? Under the brass cap which is held on by 2 screws or the bottom plate that is now held on by 4 allen bolts??? Where in these locations are they at?? Just wondering, I must be blind.

the are on the slide. Remove the round cap, pull out the spring and slide. Look at the bottom of the slide where the needle sticks out and there is a hole on each side of the needle. These are the holes to drill. I believe the bit size is 1/8".

what I've read is that if you cut the spring, it allows something to open easier and if you drill out these two holes, after you cut the spring, it allows more air to flow easier and revs quicker. Some people have done it. Thanks
