110 may be a little extreme considering the compression ratio - i've been using premium pump gas (93 octane). let us now how you make out with 110, but i think you maybe wasting $. 'round here the VP racing fuel can be pretty expensive!
I have always run 87, except once it was out and I had to use 89, no difference. Those running race gas are only wasting money, on a stock bike, the compression is not high enough to benefit from the higher octane. With a high compression piston a little more octane will be required to avoid spark knock, but with stock compression 87 is all that is needed. save your money for other stuff that will help.
