I have a bad rub mark on my rear fender after my accident.

Has anyone tried fixing bad rub marks on the Troy Lee plastics? I'm afraid that if I buy that plastic renew stuff, I will be able to fix it but lose the look of the metallic. :( I'm not even going to worry about replacing the graphics on that fender till I can fix that rub mark.

No I didn't find any stress marks at all. My friend said that one of the front fenders was touching the front tire and he had to bend it back up so I'm extremely supprised there wasn't a mark on the front.

I did get out to the garage to pull the front cab off to see if there was any hidden damage and found none. Woot Woot!

I also grabbed the front cab and held it up to a light and the metallic flakes are in the plastic and souldn't be a clearcoat. When I ordered my parts from Roger at the superbikeshop I talked to him about the rub mark and he said he would try to get some info from Polaris. I'll post what ever I hear.

I can't wait till tomorrow, I will be ordering Nerfs, handguards and the trail tech setup. Whoohooo.

Now I just hope my shoulder andd wrist heal fast so I can fix it myself!

I'm a bit excited!
