i lost at least 2 gears in my predator this weekend took it to my dealer today and i had no problem with them covering it under the 6 month warranty the told me i should have it back in two weeks. for you guys that are having problems geting stuff coverd i would look at your dealers to blame not polaris.

Do you remember if you had any metal shaving's on the magnetic oil drain plug after your last oil change before the gears blew? I have changed the oil about (4) times now and the last one I noticed some pretty good size metal shavings on the oil drain plug. I've had the bike for (4) months now and need to know if it's time to beat the sh*t out of it before the warranty is up.

no i do not speed shift my bikes and i have also change the oil about six times do to the fact that i ride 10 to 15 times month and i have no shaving on the plug.
