Does anyone have any recommendations for some good trail tires. My Razrs are getting worn and the rear end slides like a son of a b**ch. I do some track time but mostly trails. I live in the northeast and most of the trails I ride are fast and tight. The Pred slides a little more than I would like.

Pure Sport bandits. I run them down here in georgia on clay, pine straw, mud, roots, and whatever else you can think of. And they hookup amazingly well compared to the stock maxxis tires.

i like holeshots, they bite great and seem to last. ravor 2's seem to be a little moer squirly (not much) and last a really long time! both worked good for me. i ride rockky mountains and muddy trails most of the time! every once in a while, we go to a huge gravel pit with all different terrains and both tires do well there also!

I had Bandits on my 400EX and hated them. I wish the previous owner had just kept the stock radials... they were too agressive for packed dirt and the knobs were too close together for loose dirt.

'Course the RAZRs suck in loose conditions too, but they're good on hardpack.

I'm actually very impressed with the stock Raptor tires... but I've heard they aren't very durable.

In the newest issue of Dirt Wheels, there is an article about ITP's new XC tires. They are kind of based on their new MXR tire. Taller nobbys, better bite. They look nice and the guys that tested them in the latest GNCC race said they were great. I will consider them when I get ready for new rear tires. I agree that the razr's on the Pred slide out to much.

I've had the fast trekkers. They act like a stock 400EX tire, they hook up great at first but wear fast as hell. They are an AWSOME snow tire! I would not buy them again unless i had a spare set of rims, just to run them in the winter!

Has anyone had the holeshot xcr's long enough to tell how well they are going to wear? My buddy has only put about two hours on his(can't tell anything in that amount of time), and i am really needing a new set of tires. i want something that will last, even if i have to sacrifice some bite! Razor 2's last but I think really squirly for the most part and then when you want them to slide, they dont!
