Yesterday riding down by the river I found a stump that I've always known to be there. I even told myself I wasn't going to hit it. Looked away for a split second and it snuck up on me... WHACK. I thought for sure it would be OK, wasn't going that fast, unfortunatly I was wrong. Snapped the front of the bottom right A-arm almost completely in half. The shock looks fine (Thank GOD). Ordered a new arm today, 62 smackers. I actually expeceted to spend up over a Hundred for it so I'm not too disappionted.

Watch out for those sneaky stumps

Tore up the upper and lower a arms plus the shock.Luckily we didn't tear up the frame.

thats weird i have smacked a tree stump in fourth gear. tossed me about 15 feet. i thought for sure my tire would still be in front of the tree stump but looked at it and it was still fine!!!

Yeah, I bent mine at a distict Hare Scrambles last Oct. Got a good set of a-arm skids and have not had the problem since. I recommend everyone do the same.
