Has anyone out there installed a tether switch on their Predator? I got one from my dealer and it looks like exactly like the one on my snowmobile. I'd hate to have to cut wires on a brand new quad! Any info would be appreciated

Actually antiyamaha one of the guys at my dealer noticed that. He said they were the samething besised the 2 ties that come with the predator one which you dont even need. The snowmobile one is like 5 bucks cheaper.

I bought the Polaris one and it plugs right up. Including drilling the hole and mounting is like 5-10 mins.

I prefer the pro-design one myself. I've used them for years and have had no problems.

i use the pro design and i just put the wires in where you would poug in the polaris switch!

polaris is very simple, drill 1 half inch hole in dash and it plugs right in

gunner kill switch for me....the polaris plunger style is not safe... meaning they come off easy, when racing you do not want that to happen.

meyerz....funny you might think that but I had the opposite issue. I was on a flat track oval and caught a rut and flipped...when I got up and dusted myself off I was still attached. so if it's unsafe I would consider it for the opposite reasons. I would rather it come off easy than not at all.
