Just in case people forgot, or threw the owners manual in the toolbox. The swingarm bearings are supposed to be cleaned and lubed every 25 hours.

It's not too bad. You can leave the axle, wheels/tire on. Just undo the rear brake springs, remove the lower shock bolt, and remove the swingarm bolt. Then slide everything back. This is with the quad on a lift of course. Sam's Club sells the lifts for only $79, and you can get them cheaply at Checker's Auto also.

modquad,

You happy with that lift from Sam's Club? I seen Craftsman has the same thing on sale for 89.99 right now. Just wonder about the quality of the one from Sam's...

I have two of the Sam's club units, they work great. Take a look at both of them....I haven't really studied the Craftsman one. It might be a little better quality.

Another note, to help re-install the swingarm, I used a small bottle jack to very slightly spread the rear frame. I said very slightly. Gonna work on a zerk mod though.
