i was hoping that the 580 kit would be cheaper than 1400 bc thats what i heard the 600 kit from hotseat was gonna cost, and with the kit from hotseat you get a whole new cylinder so if it does blow up jsut stick your old one back on and ride it till you get it fixed, that is just what i have heard just wondering what all you guys know about the big bore kits,im doing fine stock bore in the dragraces but i need the big bore for the hillclimbs so i can dominate every other 4-stroke that comes around :)

I would be more interested in a 530cc (or thereabouts) setup because the smaller bore means a higher piston speed and more top-end power. And since I ride in the dunes almost exclusively, that's what I need.

Case in point... I've raced two Suzuki Z400s. One was a 450cc Yosh setup and the ther was the 433cc version. I beat both, but the 433 actually gave me a much better run. Both owners were of similar weight, and from talking to both, it sounded like both had identical mods except for bore size.

Hot Seat is supposedly having a 4th of July sale. You can give them a call, and see what they can do for you. If you have to go fast now, I'd go with their gear, but if you can wait a while, the king of Polaris HP, HPD is still making sure everything is perfect before they release their kit. The end of this week, or the beginning of next, they're gonna be ready to start kicking out the race pipes. Full flowbench design, that revs soooo fast, you'll be a very busy camper with your clutch lever.

do you know anything about HPD having a big bore kit any idea how big is will be,i can wait a little bit longer but not to much longer, dont get me wrong the predator has all the power a person needs from the factory but when you race you are always looking for more stuff to make you go faster, and thats what i need.

HPD has the 530 pistons on the shelf, along with stock bore 12.5:1 units. The porting is templated, but the finalization of the cams and a worthy ignition box are kinda the hold-ups now. Not to mention some exhaustive durability testing that all their products go through.

With HPD, it's not gonna be the huge size initially....but incredibly fast revving power. I'm sure over the next who knows how many years, Darrell is gonna be tweaking this thing...he never stops, and like the 400 motor he perfected, it's gonna be a wild ride. After just running that pipe, and seeing the evil twinkle in his eye...he won't rest til he's the king of the hp on this motor too. And I'm sure with that will come the beloved HPD durability.
