Has anyone done any kind of mod to there stock pipe on the Predator? What did you do, and did you feel any power gains? I want more low end, but I need to keep the noise down.

The stock spark arrestor consists of a piece of screen crimped on one end and attached to the endcap on the other. I cut mine off and have not noticed any difference in noise. I only have run about 3 full tanks of gas since purchasing quad and it was already starting to carbon up. I can't say that I notice any gains from removing it, but I would certainly be sure to keep it clean of carbon, or it will restrict air flow.

i bolted it where the spark arrester was (mainly for looks) but it also gives it a bit more torque.I cut the outside diameter the same sive as the out side of the pipe and cut the center whole about 2 inches in diameter.i didnt change the needle. its in the stock position. Should i lean it out a bit?
