I tried to reply to Dave's post but it didn't work. Anyway, Easter Sunday mine did the same thing, button sticks in and runs the starter until you pop it back out. I was hoping it was a freak problem and would go away. Maybe some dirt in it so I washed my bike after the ride and it didn't stick. Haven't touched it since, but I'll keep everyone updated. Hopefully it doesn't have to go to the Stealer, I don't even want to know how long it will take to get back. Hey, does anyone know if with warranty work we can install the parts ourselves so we don't have to wait forever for the Stealer to do it?

It happened to me a few times. Most times I could just work it loose but once in the middle of Paragon in Pennsylvania I had to spit on it to work it loose. When I got back I cleaned it out and gave it a shot of WD40 and haven't had a problem since.

That's really odd... I've washed mine many times and run it in the sand for most of its life and I've never had mine stick (knock on wood).

Mine stuck on after a garden hose washdown.........

freaky thing to just turn the key on the the preddy turned over.......

good thing I noticed a bit of noise (starter turning and engaged just after I started it up) so I turned off the key, turned the key back on and she started right up.....

These need better seals or O-rings.
