I have made them out of mirror finished stainless steel they bolt right to factory mounting locations and drop temps well to say the least ,...it is rare to hear my fan run much at all with them installed.. I have tried these on several friends bikes and they are pleased as well... it is mounted lower than the res. bottle so no relocating or in the way b.s. to deal with... the edges are finished with a black plastic edge to protect you or items from being sliced!! They look factory and the mirror is wild,... the rear of it is satin finish.. I think it would be overpowering with miror front and back. I will selling these on ebay starting next week I know they are not as lite as allunium but they will with stand one hell of a beating and sure turn heads with low to no maintainance... I will due for $25 a pair plus shipping... I have a perfect ebay rating and own a heating and air conditioning co on the east coast.. my co is very much hands on with all aspects of metal products.. have no fear of quality.. Please email me for questions or wants I will have pics soon.. Tom [email protected]

Hey Tom, be sure to post a pic of them. or even Email it dirrect to me.

Is that rubber trim guard some type of rubber grommet, or snap on caterpillar trim peice?

I'm presently running the JetBlast.com air scoops, and really like how the Red Vertical Lettering says JETBLAST in big bold letters........I work at Boeing, so its kinda fitting.

can't wait to see the looks I get at Comp Hill at the Oregon Dunes next week with the Scooops!.

I'm going Raptor hunting......he heh heh.

Be wery wery quiet.......Gonna bagggg a waptorrrr, gonna bag a waptorrrrr.

Wonder if one of the in-line water temp gauges from the banshee parts world would fit in line with one of our radiator hoses........

hmmmmmm, gotta think about that.

It'd be interesting to see how JetBlast scoops compare to say, Raths scoops, PRM scoops, or now Toms Stainless........personally, I don't like the fit of Raths scoops.

it'd be interesting to compare surface area, angle, weight, mounting ease, and such.....

Sounds like a "cool" idea........he heh heh.

To be quite honest I dont see a big difference in temp. dropping. It seemed to be the same. I have the Rath Racing ones and I have pretty much decided that it is just an aftermarket eye candy mod:)

If you monitor a machine with a full design scoop, one that can re-direct up to 50% more airflow, you'll see the difference. The Predator walks a fine line coolant temp wise, the more you can do to aid in this area, better performance, and engine longevity will be your payoff.
