My seat is wearing holes through my airbox lid, I am going to have to make the dealer replace it weather or not he wants to. I ground off a bunch of that rear seat rib a long time ago but now the parts of the rib that I didnt grind off are rubbing and so is that hook for the toolkit. Has anybody found any type of fix for this?

BTW: I ride through deep water and mud often so NO CLAMP ON K&N for me!

I've had the same problem so I cut a piece of 1/8 aluminum to protect where the hook hits and where the seat ribs hit. I attached them with clear silicone and they are still there after 3 months.

I had a couple hard pieces of hard plastic that I just duct taped (gotta love that duct tape) over the wearing spots. Then I just got rid of the airbox all together....problem solved.
