I'm assuming what you are talking about is it came off at the front. Mine did the same thing while I was drag racing--not fun! What happend was when I adjusted the plastic (after the aforementioned dumb crash I had) I didn't get the plastic into the clips that are on the gas tank. That caused my tank to move forward which in turn caused the seat to come out of the notch at the rear of the tank. Once I got the plastic in place. I moved the tank to the rear as far as I could and had no more problems. Something to start with.....
