Anybody here close enough to join me at Sand Mountain this coming weekend? I'm headed out there on Friday.

Going up Friday nite , maybe we'll be out Sat Morning early before the heat comes, I want to see what it will run like with the water wetter,distilled water & Dexron coolant, and I changed the oil to Harley Screaming Eagle oil, supposed to make it shift better ???

Cool! Yeah, that's my plan too. I'll get there around 4 PM on Friday, so by the time I'm setup and unloaded, the temps will be coming down. Then up early and ride on Saturday until the heat hits around noon or so, then stay in the camper with the A/C on until the heat breaks again, and so on.

Look me up when you get there... I'll be in a silver Dodge dually with a Lance camper towing a big white enclosed trailer. I would normally bring the smaller open trailer but in case I decide to play jetting games, I want someplace enclosed to work, in case I drop any parts.

Last minute had to stay in Sac this weekend because of work, will be up in a couple of weeks or Labor Day.

I'm trying to get a daytrip together for Aug 2nd or 3rd...

Sorry you couldn't make this one. I met some other guys from Sacto and rode with them a bit.
