I got my Predator from Reno Cycles & Gear in Reno, Nevada. Without a doubt one of the best dealers I've ever found. It's amazing the difference it makes when you have a good dealer.

BTW, these guys are the largest Polaris dealer in the state.

Because I was originally going to get a TLD, and since you have to choose the dealer that you're going to get it from at the time you reserve it, it didn't occur to me to do this.

Then, when I ended up not getting the TLD, I just wanted one NOW and it didn't matter where it came from. One appeared at the local dealer that was available, so I snagged it.

As luck would have it, I found a fantastic dealer, so it was worth the sales tax to have a relationship with them.

Hey Rob... If you go in to the shop a lot can you ask them if they can get me a quad in San Jose? Have it delivered to the local dealer, meet me half way to Reno, ship it to me, etc.

Kev, I'm sure they can help you out. I take it the dealers down there aren't worth dealing with?

Give Stephy there a call... 775-355-8810. Tell her I sent you. She's there Tues-Sat. I know they will deliver to the border, but as far as delivering it down there, ask her about it. They're very flexible so I'm sure they'll work with you. These guys are straight shooters.

BTW, nobody there is on commission so there's none of those pressure games.

Thanks Rob! Also, Did I read somewhere that you spent time in Wichita? I was just there on business, ate at a place called Scotch and Sirloin - awesome - great waitresses as well.

Nope, never been to Witchita. Was in Omaha for longer than I would have liked to be... not from there, though.

I DID go to Topeka in Summer of 2000, but that was for the SCCA Solo II National Championships... was only there like three days.

Oh that's right. While at my last company in Springfield, Illinois, we acquired a business in Omaha and ran it out of Springfield. I went there occaisionally for business. It was TAC air on the OMA runway. Had major customers in Springfield from Omaha - Union Pacific, Mutual of Omaha, etc. Lot of corporate aircraft on the OMA runway.

I just got my Predator today!!!! and went riding in Hollister, CA. This thing sure rides a lot better than my Grizzly, it is incredible!!! Polaris owes a sale to Rob and Stephy at Reno Cycles and Gear. I am a Yamaha guy. I have a Grizzly and 2 Yamaha Wave Runners. I was looking to buy a Raptor when I heard about this new quad Polaris was making. I checked out the Predator and it was cool but I wasn't sold on it, I was still a Yamaha guy. Then I searched the internet and saw this Rob guy's web site where he had some video of him and his Predator. The coolest video was the big dune he went up. Then I found this Predator Owners web site and these people just raved about their Predators. So now I'm sold and ready to buy so I go to Salinas Motorcycle Center where I had the worst experience ever. I began to re-think the Raptor, if this was the service I could expect from Polaris, I was really ready to stick with Yamaha. Then Stephy from Reno Cycles sent me an email with the price and she will even bring it to my door step - I live 5 hours from Reno!!!!! Stephy and Reno cycles saved the sale. These people are awesome!!! The customer service was the best, they were extrenely knowledgable, had a nice selection of aftermarket products, and were extremely friendly. I bet I talked to Stephy for an hour on Friday. Heck, she even found a way so I could ride the Predator the day I got it (Sunday) even though I could not register at DMV until Monday. I will buy all my aftermarket products from Reno and cannot praise them enough. If any of you need any Polaris or Predator stuff, call Stephy - she is fantastic. There are a lot of Polaris dealerships between San Jose and Reno, I will take Reno cycles! and thanks for the web site Rob!

I need to chime in here. The people who are saying how good Reno Cycle's and gear are, are dead on!!! these guys are awsome and will go out of there way to help you out!!!
In the last 6 months I have bought 3 quads from them and my Brother a sled and we could not be happier, they truelly go the extra mile to help you out and understand the meaning of customer service. It is a great feeling these days when you walk into a dealer and they remember your name and actually talk to you, and this was before I bought the other 2 bikes! I even had the Mechanic come out the other day and ask how my 400 was running and I had only talked to him once before, that is the kind of thing that makes an impression on me and will make me a lifetime customer.

thanks and now I will get off my soapbox

I agree with what everyone is posting here. I bought my Predator from them on Feb. 14. I also bought all my gear and paddles from them as well. They have excellent customer service and recommend them highly. This should be good for a discount on future purchases! J/K.LOL.

It say's something about them that they would make a deal with someone out of state and arrange delivery to there door.

I will definatly get all my accessories from them in the future. Big thumbs up!!!!!

Ditto to all these comments.

I didn't buy my pred there but they treat me very well regardless. I recommend them to anyone. They are the second best reason to buy Polaris right behind the fact that the Pred rips.

Especially in Reno where the other shops are full retail plus!
