Hmmm. hydraulic clutch to replace a cable clutch. I wonder if he'd consider doing a cable-activated braking system to do away with our hydraulic system that drags too much? ;)

I dount Daryl will change that. After all he is the one that pretty much designed the Predator for the most part.

I ordered my hydro clutch today from rath racing. The price is $210, but i think it will be well worth it. I also ordered the radiator scoops for it from rath. I got the set of polaris nerf bars, which are very nice, and the skid plates are on the way too. I want to see the AC and DG bumpers for the pred, anyone got a link???

The Polaris front bumper was slightly redesigned since the brochure pics, kinda different, but goes with the lines of the machine, and really protects the rezzi's and coolant overflow.

I'm in the same boat (not knowing). I saw it on the Rath Racing site, but it didn't really say what it would fix/improve. I was just hoping someone had that info. :)

The hydro clutch is especially important on the predator. It will make it much easier to squeeze in clutch lever. On the pred you much pull in clutch at high speeds to shift, no power shifting!!! The hydro clutch will do away with the cable too. My clutch lever is very stiff, and with as much as you must use it on the pred, the hydro clutch will be the key to better shifting. The shifting is one thing that i do not care for on the predator, so anything that may make it better i am all for. Rath called me this morning and told me my clutch would be here by friday, so i will let you know how it works.

I hear ya, it is only $$, but it is still not that much. I will get my clutch tomorrow, i know it will make a big difference. I was riding today is some trails and that cluth lever was pissing me off, after 20 minutes of riding my wrist was burning up. I like the look of raths seat cover too, i know what you are saying about sliding all over, that stock seat is slick. They need to come out with a bracket that will hold that plastic a little more sturdy, when it gets some mud gets on the fenders they shake like crazy. i talked to darrel rath and he said they are testing an edelbrock carb, they are making some different cams, and he said they will continue to make new products, i cant wait. They must test all the products before they sell them to see the HP difference.

I got my hydro clutch on friday, but i didnt put it on till today. It was a pretty simple installation, and it works awesome. It improved my ride in the trails, but with the hydro clutch you cannot start your quad in gear with the clutch in, there is no place for the button, but you could mount the button seperate if it is that important to you.

Yes the hydro clutch does help when shifting under alot of power. I was wrong about it not starting in gear with the clutch in, it does work. I will give it the real test on saturday at the Badlands

when your predator is broke in you wont have any prob. whith shifting give it time to break in. I ride every weekend and mine shifts like a dream. i use ps4 in my bike to. very good oil.

I use the same oil, and i know how to ride and break them in. The hydro clutch is better than the cable, i have ridden with both, and i think it makes a big imporvement.
