Just curious what some of you guys pay each week to race at your local MX tracks. The MX track we have here has 2 open practice sessions each week, wednesday and friday. its $25 each session. They have motorcycle races on saturday and ATV races on sunday. Its $35 for race day. $10 to get in the gate and then $25 PER class that you race. It can add up if you race more than one class. They charge $10 for spectators just to come in and watch. How does that compare to some of the other places around the country?

For our drag races they charge $5.00 to get in and $8.00 a class not to bad I guess....I usually run 3 classes...

Hey Local its Mac. My track has practice on every thursday that will charge you $10, and one on sunday afternoons that will hit you up for $7. Atv's racing on Friday nights and motorcycles on saturday. Admin. is $7 a person, children under 5 free and 5-12 $5. Race fees are $25 and a second class is $15. They trophy 50% of each class. Well I go to a track (privately owned) that you can go to on wednesday and saturday. I only go on saturday due to work and school. It's $400 for my dad and I and we ride all day. They also have many trails, its 88 acres. They re-do the track with bulldozers 2 times a year. Any profit they make goes back into the track to discing and things like that. I am not sure on local races but www.cnymra.com would help you on that.

our tracks are.for the MX track its 10.00 to ride for a day, or 500.00 a year, Tues Thurs practice days. For the flat track its 6.00 at the gate and 25.00 to race kids under 5 are free. races Fri and Sat......

45.00 for one 10.00 extra for a family member each. This is for a whole year. You also have your own keys to open the gate. Close it as you go in, no rideing on tuesday or thursday. Horse day on those two days. Raceing on weekends. Not to bad here. Big event in July only $1500. 1st place.

A local ATV club runs the track here, dirt drags 300'. Its $10 for the first class you enter and $5 for any additional classes thats for club members, nonmembers are $15 and $10 respectfully. Theres no prize money just trophies for 1st thru 3rd. Proceedes go back into the club.

Thanks for the replies. I am beginning to think the track here is charging to much. They keep wondering why more peope don't show up and i think its because its to expensive for people to do all the time. Especially for families that race. I have a feeling that it may not be around to long if they don't lower the cost a little. thanks again.

There is only one quad class most of the time at my local mx track. I had to sign up as an AMA member ($40/year) and the fees are $20 for the first class and $15 for each additional class.
