I would like to know how many miles could I go on a tank of gas?
I run white bros slip-on; K&N drop in air filter, Dynojet kit with a 165 main and a 6 square inch air box mod. I ride at 4000-5000 ft elevation. The reason for the extra info is of course with more air and larger main the more fuel it consumes. So if anyone with a trail tech computer runs his or her predator close to my set up I would really appreciate at least an approximate distance on a tank of gas. I am planning a trip on the Piute trail and would prefer not to pack extra fuel. Thanks a lot for any help.

It's not really how many miles, it's how many hours. I don't have your setup, this is mine, stock Predator with Purepolaris exhaust elevation about 500-1000 feet. I get about 3-4 hours per tank.

The reason I ask for mileage is because there are certain distances between towns were I can refuel. Its hard to figure out how many hours it will take me on a map but real easy to figure the mileage. Thanks for your input.

Hard to say how many miles because it depends on the speed(s) you are traveling at during the time you are traveling to the destination if any. I have 2 preds with the TrailTechs computers on them. One went 27 miles in 1 hour and 17 minutes, the other went 25 miles in 1 hour. The first one was much lower on gas than the second one.

Hope that helps ???

O I think you can go over 50 miles on a tank, probable close to 75 - 100 but the most I've gone before a computer reset is like 54 miles.

It should be pre programmed if you bought the predator computer. But the Stock Predator front tires are 21" tall.

i went riding this past weekend over a local mountain. all the riding was on the dirt roads. we rode at about thirty to thirty five mph. we kept a steady pace and did not good off. we went 46 miles and i still had a half tank left. but, i can go up in the trails and ride hard and only go like 25-30 miles and burn as much if not more gas. hope this helps.

Thanks for you’re the info.

I couldn’t wait any longer to get the Trail Tech so I bought one in July.
I appreciate your info you guys are getting close to the same gas mileage as I am. It sure helps to know an approximate mileage on those long rides so you know when to get your but heading back to camp.

Thanks again.
