Im going to install my Pure Polaris Eseries(white Bros) exhaust tomarrow and wanted to see how everyone else runs them.I guess i dont just take it out of the package and put it on like it comes?The spark arrester is the nice looking piece that comes on the end,correct?The silencer is the piece that does not come installed,correct?Do you use the silencer?Where does it go on at?How many discs for best performance?Thanks

i run my e-series with a K$N and thats it! it runs great. The spark arrestor is the part that came uninstalled. the pipe IS the silencer! to put the spark arrestor on, take off the end cap and all 8 discs. then put in the spark arrestor on and then put the end cap and discs back on the way they came off. the pipe comes with 8 discs and polaris tested it with white brothers this way, im going to assume that this is the right amount of discs for the best performance. by the way, you do not ahve to run the spark arrestor unless you are riding on land that requires it.

The uninstalled piece your referring to is the quiet core insert, not the spark arrestor. The discs and the back plate make up the spark arrestor. If you need to reduce the noise level the quiet core goes on first then the disc/endcap assy.

Shakin....I believe you have the two pieces mixxed up.If you look inside the endpiece of the muffler it says spark arrestor on it.

So is everyone just runnin 8 discs then the spark arrestor?I dont think i need the quiet core insert.I dont ride at no tracks just the dunes and ditches around where i live.Thanks for the help.

I run the 8 discs and spark arrestor. However, there are some people running 11 and 12 discs.

You will need to add disc with more mods Modified air box, bigger jetting diff carb stuff like that. And I am running 12disc

I have it on now.Just started it and it sounds great,no leaks.I didnt use the quiet core insert.So just to make sure before i run the thing....I leave the spark arrestor on the end thus the end is pretty much closed and the exhaust exits threw the discs?Thanks for all the help.

guess the reason i was confused is because when i installed the quiet core, the noise was exactly the same, when i took out the spark arrestor, the quad got loud as hell. I stand corrected! will it make any difference with the jetting if i take out the spark arrestor?
