the big jetting change comes from changing the airbox, for the pipe alone, i had a fmf ti4, which is a straight through design like yours and ran the same jets as stock with the k+n drop in. once i added the air box mod, jets went to 167.5 on the main - i live at about 4800 altitude - james
well it proll will not hurt to try to re jet it right? I have the K&N drop in. Where would be a good point to start at? i was thinking 165 or 160 and then go down from there until it gets right, and when its right does that mean that the back firing will stop? Or when do you know when you have gotten the right spot. Im a little confused on where to start and stop.
Ok i just decked it out with uni vents. i ordered a 160 165 and 167.5 main jet. will i need to move the needle or up the pilot jet? I know you cant predict everything but any help would be appreciated.
