I have decided to buy a Predator 500. Does someone know the differences between -03 and -04 model? Should I wait for the new model or should I go with the -03, that many dealers are selling for lower prices now?

Thanks for the answers.

Wait for the 04 with improvements IMO.

04's have 9" rear wheels instead of 10". 04's have 1/2" shorter wheelbase (someone said the swingarm is shorter). 04's have standard size hubs (whatever that means). I like the specs on the 03 better personally.

I myself have this situation. 03 or 04? I am going for the 04. Much like anything, they show all the major upgrades and changes, but what they dont say is all the 'bugs and quirks' that they have fixed from the previous 'first year run'.

At least taht s what I hope!

I'm sure they worked some of the bugs out. If they changed the swing arm I'm sure its because they found it had less wheel spin. As for the hubs and rims this will give you more choices for other rims and tires that are out there or still being developed. I don't mind the 10" rims cause my next tire is going to be the Holeshot XCR and they make them in 10". If I was in your position I would get the "04".
