I was checking out the Pure Polaris website the other day and found they now sell the chrome headlight covers (Rath look-alikes) for $30. Also they have a "replacement plastic kit" which says it contains both front & rear cabs and is listed for $200. My dealer said I could get it for around $160. Black is the only listed color & no decals. Anyone bought it or seen it yet?

The black replacement blastic is the same as your stock stuff. It's the same as the Troy Lee Plastic and has metal flake it it.

So are you saying that you can get the front and back plastics for $200 altogether, or is that $200 for the front and $200 for the back and is the black plastic the same price??

ya what is the full price for replacing your plastics and what colors can i get them in like troy lee dune plastics stock pred plastics ccan i get any of them bc i broke my front plastics and there duck tape on there now in away

hey check out fullbore also you have to get them to e-mail you the pics of what plastic they have when they e-mailed me the pics they have red,blue,white,yellow,silver, and mettalic orange. the pictures are awssom

Yep, and I called them, $200 for front and rear, it does not replace the nose piece though, and is not metalic. just the front and rear fenders, and about $65 to $100 in shipping, way to ream on the shipping side.

c'mon Kevin we want the pics. Check with your dealer on the shipping for the stock $200 replacement plastic. You get the frand AND rear fencders for that price. Sweeeeeet. If they order it with their regular orders you shouldn't have to pay for the extra shipping.

I received my Black Plastics from Polaris this week and noticed the molding to mount the rear tail light mount was not in the platics. Since I do a lot of dusty rides in the desert I would prefer not to remove the light.

I was considering mounting it at the same spot as the old skins but am worried that the plastic will crack because it is too thin. Additionally, I need something that extends the mount a few inches so the light will clear the six pack rack. Has anyone else built dealt with this issue?

I mounted my new black plastic today. I reused the mounting bracket for the taillight by bending it some more and drilling thru the plastic and using bolts.
I'll have pictures up tommorrow.

I also have a set of black replacement plastic on my pred. For $200 you get all the plastics(front and rear). I love my new plastic, but now i need to get some custom graphics done. I have pics in my profile if you want to see anything.
