I have read that the sprocket from a newer Honda xr 650L will fit the Predator.
This is the part number from White Brothers Racing (a major distributor of parts for atv and dirt bikes) Talon 13T sprocket for a 2003 XR650L
Part# 75-3216

I am picking mine up tomorrow and will let everyone know how it works.

Let us know how much you paid for it also, and what material its made of (if you know). There seems to be a lot of variance in quality of both manufacturing and of the material, yet the prices dont vary nearly as much.

I just put a sidewinder 13T front sprocket on, high carbon steel, $39. I apears to be a very high quality peice. I rode for a couple mins today to make sure everything was ok before my weekend trip, I definatly have to shift more but it seems more responsive and I wasnt finding myself bogging down and having to downshift as much as before. Where I would normally only use second gear and third for a little strech here and there, I was using second, third, and fourth instead.

you cannot beat the quality of sidewinder sprockets, pricey, but you do get what you pay for.

I agree with rngmstr. I think they are excellent sprockets, and worth the extra.
