I have heard that the predators oil filter is the same as the 400ex.
Does anyone know if this is true?
I really don't have a polaris rep close to my home.

As a side note:
Am I the only one disliking the thumb throttle on this quad?
I seem to be rubbing a hole in my hand against the right side of the throttle box.

Yes, the Honda 400ex oil filter is the same as the Predator. You don't get the 'o-ring' with it of course, but you shouldn't need to replace that very often. I am running the Honda one in mine because my dealer didn't have any in stock.
