maybe its just me, but i dont think my pred has the snap it had when i bought it, sometimes when i rap on it fast it chokes a bit first before it takes off. the last time i filled it up i had to get some poor grade gas, so i added a can of octane booster too, but it just isnt like it was. i dont have any mods on th engine, just the spark arrestor pulled out of the factory exhaust. anyone have any ideas on what might be going on? and how to fix it?

yeah it stumbles sometimes, other times it picks right up like it should.

when you added the octnae boost, did you notice that it had a minimum amount of gas that it had to be added too? Most require that you have a minimum of 4 gallons of gas...you could have damaged your plugs...maybe.

do you think it did more damage than the plug maybe? Ill pull the tank and check out the plug tomorrow and see what i can see from there,, thanks for the idea,, i didnt look to see how much the minimum was, i jsut figured ive been running cam2 in it and the gas i had to get was like 89 octane or so, really low and the booster was a low grade one,,, the only gas station within 20 miles of the track and they have crap for fuel

Make sure and clean that air filter out good and make sure the oil is getting changed on time also.

it works quite well,, but for 5 bux a gallon it **** well better,,,

well,, i gave it a through cleaning and service, everything looks good, could prolly use a new air filter, but im waiting till next payday to get a clamp on and do some jetting but by removing the snorkle and oil change its back to where it was, coulda been the crappy super humid weather maybe,, hell i didnt wanna run in it either
