Hey y'all, yesterday I bought a 1995 Polaris Xplorer 400 4x4 (Liquid Cooled), and it is in great condition and was just recently rebuilt, but the problem is that the coolant reservoir, or I've seen it called the overflow, had some bad issues with spraying coolant. I was able to ride it about an hour and a half maybe 2 and a half hours, but even after cooling off, it sprays air and coolant out of the overflow cap. Personally I thought it may have been some issues with the head gasket, but I've also heard some mention about the thermostat and the cap itself, the cap is smooth on the outside and has a little hole right in the middle, and from research, I'm still unsure on what the problem is. I love the thing and I can't wait to put more hours on it so I hope to have it fixed soon. I hope y'all can give me some tips/fixes soon.
