Been riding my pred for over 3 months now....WOW!!!! great quad.
Done the regular service no problems until 3 rides ago.

Once I am out riding the bike is fine, works well after about 30 to 40 mins of riding it cuts out, lights, ignition complete out. The bike stops, I switch off then 30 seconds latter switch on and the ignition light is flickering and the head lights if they are on. After another 15 seconds back to normal the bike starts off I go. 5 / 10 mins latter same problem.

Anyway have a idea on the problem? I do most riding on the sand. Have cleaned most of the elecltrical connections my friend also has a pred we go out same places and his is fine.

I think it might be the ignition.

Would appericate some advice. Great site RG.

Sam...

There are a few "gang grounding points". One is up front, and another is on the left side by the coil. You can take off the connection, clean it, and use some CRC 2-26 contact cleamer...which also leaves an oil protectant behind. Also if you're within your warranty, get it to your dealer.

Your electonic throttle control could be causing your problem ,but like modquad said "your within your warranty ,take it to your dealer".
