I have a 2k1 Suzuki GSX-R600 with 6500mi, 2 bros pipe, iridium plugs, a few cosmetic accesories (hugger, flush lights) NEVER been layed down and totally pampered and no problems whatsoever that a friend is wanting for his 2k3 pred 500, been in a few incidents that i know of, nuthin big.. engine, frame, axles and suspension in great condition. I love my streetbike, but i am going to get a newer one anyways, so my question, how much should I ask in addition to the toy swap? Im thinking at least $1,500-2,000, being that the suzuki is worth ALOT more than this predator. Does this sound reasonable? I really like the predator, i rode it about 15 miles through all kinds of **** yesterday NO PROBLEMS, then I get about 2 streets away from gettin it home and it just dies like the engine wasnt getting enough fuel. The battery had a charge, just couldnt turn it over. SO now i'm second-guessing the trade, and then I see this site and all the problems with this machine, and I am REALLY second guessing it. Being that you all own these, i need some honest opinions!! Thanks and sorry for the long story!

polaris has sold many, many predators, the problems you hear of are from only a small few. look at a forum for any new quad, bike or car/truck for that matter, they ALL have there problems, and like the predator, they are mostly all few and far between.
