Hey everyone, I'm new here so Im getting used to the site...Anyways, I have the opportunity of getting a high performance quad. Im currently riding a bayou 220 and even though I love the little bike I've just really outgrown the power and handling. I just want to know what made you guys get a predator over, i dunno...a raptor, DS650, or cannondale and maybe how these quads stack up against eachother. Also if I happen to get a Predator Ive heard some complaints about them and was wondering if it would be hard to fix and maintain those problems, because it wouldnt be fun being stuck with a 6000 dollar machine that I cant ride. Oh yea forgot to mention that Im 6'1, 140 lbs, and I would be riding mostly trails and off road, but I also do some hillclimbing, rock crawling, drag racing, woods riding, and sometime I would like to make it out to Glamis or Buttercup sand dunes. Thnx for any input I really appreciate it :)

If ya got the cash, that new yamaha dog might be worth a look. Its extremely light and powerful. From what I read, its very agile too.

The pred is a good machine. Handles real well and has a powerful motor. Compared to my 400EX, its a bit wide for the trails at times; too fat. I find that I bump trees with the rear tires alot. But the pred will hill climb like no ones business...you dont have to worry much about the front end coming up on ya. For short rides, i prefer my 400EX. Its light and has bottom end power like nothing Ive ever ridden before. On long rides, I prefer the Polaris. Its a bit larger and the suspension is so much better. I can ride all day and not get worn out.

Thats my 2cts.
