In a nutshell, jetting is where you change the fuel openings inside the carbeurator to increase the amount of fuel that goes into the motor. This is necessary because as more air flows through the motor, which happens when you change the muffler or add a high-flow air filter, the air to fuel mixture leans out, which is bad. Running lean can melt your piston and do other bad things to your motor.

My advise being your new to the sport is to first ride the Pred and get some time on it, learn how to ride it safely then when your totally comfortable with it ease into the mods. There's not that much out yet for mods so be patient it will come.

I"ve heard an azz load about which jets to go to. I believe I'm at like 600ft above sea level. I have the White slip on, K&N filter with no air box mods. I have not experienced any popping like some have by doing this, and I"m still at stock jets. I have a feeling as the weather warms up, I'm going to be running lean. Any help?

Yea, as the temp rises air density (hence volume of oxygen) decreases. As it cools down however, that's when density (and oxygen) go up, and then you'll need more fuel.
