Did I mention it's very accurate? :D It is a very reputable manufacturer. The unit carries a full two year warranty on defects in workmanship, and materials. I've put mine through two harescrambles and almost an entire summer of abuse....has never missed a beat. My distributor will only let me sell them at Jobber rates, any lower and he won't supply me....or anyone else out there. He actually markets them for .50 more than I do. This is THE fastest multi-function tachometer on the market. It gives you the choice of shutting off the tach, and only running the LED's (shift indicator) in one of the three brightness modes. It remembers peak rpm. It works on 1-6 ignition pulses. The shift indicator is programable to 13,000 rpm. It's accurate, fast, and reliable, or I wouldn't use it, or waste peoples time and money selling it. Period.

Yeah, i doubt he'll spill the beans on that.

He did check on the ice-age question..its good to -40 up to 85 degrees Celsius...so yeah it should work when cold!

Thanks Scott, I was just double checking the figures.

Rusure, I don't mind the question of origin at all. Let's put it this way, I won't even tell the engineering crew how I hooked it up. There are certain things, like bolt sizes for changing over to titanium, I'll post. Eventhough I've taken the time to basically take the machine down for my own change over. I don't have the time to set up a deal with Mettec, so I'll be forwarding those specs for them to use. I have had too many ideas...not to sound cocky or arrogant...show up in other peoples product catalogues. Granted people only really know me from sharing Sport/Scrambler mods, and now from buying radiator scoops. I've had one scoop go bad, oak tree encounter during a harescramble. I replaced it free of charge....that's what I do. I like to test new gear, and get the word out there on the gear that seems to hold up, and perform. Granted, there can be exceptions over time, given what we do to this equipment, that's gonna happen. Some info is always gonna be privledged, I'm sorry about that, that's kinda a bad edge of the business world. I'm not gonna toss my reputation to make a few dollars. I bought my first tach for $128 plus $15 shipping...that's the cheapest I could find at the time. :D

Just like with the scoops, still just taking cashier's checks and money orders. This fall/winter when all the articles slow down, I'm gonna have to get the Visa gear set up. People can e-mail me directly at [email protected] for orders. Due to family farming demands, articles/gear testing, and races, I'll be in and out during the next month. There are still some incredible gadgets/gear that are on the way from various manufacturers. Anyone who said "stick a fork in the Predator" is gonna get a jumbo eye opening. Just like Scott brought some new releases to my attention...I didn't think most of that gear was coming out til September. Polaris, and mod shops have been kicking it hard, now we're gonna see, and benefit from their work.
