Has anyone taken measurements on there pipes yet I.S O.S lenght ect. I would like to hear about it. Not sure whats all out there for the header yet,but it would be interesting to know. Thanks

They say the stock header is good enough for this machine. I never thought of getting a new one, so I didn't think of measuring the stock one. Sorry.

Chilly, have you thought about have the stock header coated? There was a thread on here somewhere that says this place Jet-Hot.com does great work and its not expensive. They have a fast turn around also. They claim that it will help reduce heat and possibly help with the exhaust flow. I am going to send mine to them when I get back from riding this weekend.

Thanks for the input. I already have my exhaust pipe wrap. I like rideing in shorts. I was just wondering if HMF head pipe(I thought they have one out) had any size differents from stock,flanges,bend,ect. I've thought about jet coat,but then again the shorts thing HA HA

aha thats what the yellowish looking stuff is on your headpipe. I was wondering what it was cuz I was looking at the pics in your profile and I was like wtf. Hey how much cooler does it run with exhaust wrap? and which exhaust wrap did you use?

jysi: aha is the heat shield, I painted it yellow with Dupi-Color metalcast it gives it an anodized look. I did my hubs in the blue, got to be different. On cooler like I said, I like riding in shorts on hot days. Do'nt have a temp gun to give any dgrees. On the wrap got it from Summit. DEI 1" exhaust wrap 50' for $25.95 I already had it laying around from wraping my KLX.

OH okay thats what it is. I have never riden in pants and never will. I have a gang load of scars on my right leg. In fact a couple that have gotten infected before and had to go to the hospital for But i refuse to wear em. With pants on i'd burn my leg off from all the head!!! I dont need to bake my leg off.
