I put a K&N slip-on my predator and then the outerwear on the slip on filter. On the bottom side of the filter where the outerwear touches the frame, there is a wire, looks like a ground wire bolted to the frame. Anyhow, the wire rubbed a hole in the outerwear. I guess I'll have to buy a new outerwear and maybe relocate the wire. Anyone else have this problem, or does everyone else already know of this?? Thanks

I noticed this problem also. I have not fixed it yet. I will have to look at it this weekend and figure out a solution. I am not giving up that slip on filter. it makes to much of a difference over the stock airbox setup.
