i do alot of trail riding in the fall,spring,summer, but then set up for ice racing do you guys and gals think that jet hot would be a bad idea for cold temps? i was thinking that the bike might not warm up good. thanks

jet-hot has nothing to do with the bikes operating temps., jet-hot is an coating that they apply to both the inside and outside of your pipe to keep the more heat in where it belongs, not radiating out helping the cylinder and head get hotter than they already are. The engine will still get to it's operating temp. just fine.

How much is it to get the pipe done? whats they're turn around time?

actually i think they claim it helps engine run cooler, but i'm sure it couldn't affect the temp enough to make a differenc in the cold weather

Jet Hot's prices have gone up a lot recently... it seems their standard rate for any pipe is now $75, which is a crock. When I had my Grizzly's pipe done about 6 mos ago it was only $55.

BTW, they want $75 to do even the single-out pipe on my Rincon. What a joke.
