I have seen pics of them cut and it kinda looks weird at first, but i see how it could grow on ya. I personally will leave the fenders on until they crack or something.

Sorry CMC, I haven't been much of a Sesame Street fan for about.....23 years! Didn't mean to affend any of "the count" fans - my bad!

Tina, yes I do like it, (sorry, I meant to tell you that) It looks good. Good job on keeping them even too. What did you cut them with? Did you sand the edges with fine grit sandpaper? Once you get the cut edges smooth, you can put a bit of a shine on them by rubbing them with a piece of plain paper. (this only works on the EDGES of the plastic, not the top surfaces) It's gonna take some elbow grease, but it works really well. Oh, and be careful not to burn your hands while rubbing! It creates a lot of friction.

Thanks Rupedawg, paper huh.......... I used my dreheml and used a fine sandpaper to take the rough edge dwon then, I used a buffer on the drehmel to raound it out a bit... its very smooth now.. I use a tape measure to do final measuring.. I did see one spot in the back side of the fenders that needs a little better angle but other than that I like it..Im gonna do a frineds Raptor next..lol CMC~~ I do ride in mud once in awhile, and honsetly when riding my EX, I dont get that much muddier... I do ride sand mostly and will do some trailing this summer... LMAO!!! yes "count dracula" is cereal isnt it!! Thats too funnny... too many years to go back and remember....:) Tina

Thanks Gabe...well,when referring to the lines,do you mean how did I get both sides to match up so evenly? ?? I just used some black tape and did some measuring to make sure they matched up, I go with a little extra at first I would rather have too much in the begining than too little and be stuck with them too short.. ..I took the back side of the fenders off just a smidge more since I took the last pics in my avatar, and angled them a bit more so when looking at them head on, you dont see the back side as much, kinda levels out with the front now.. Im going to put a few more pics in my profile of how they look now.... Tina :)

I added a few mnoe pics, but they didnt turn out too good, too dark in my garage,I didnt buff the edges in this pic on the rear part of the fenders yet so its lot as smooth ad the front is until I detail it abit more... Ill get some ridng at the dunes this week end and you can see how it looks .... :) Tina

QuadJunkies, I noticed a Raptor sitting behind your Predator. Is that yours too? Have you raced your Pred against the Raptor? If so, what were the results? I'm curious because my friend has a Raptor, I've ridden it a couple times and I'm trying to gauge the performance of the Predator by comparing it to the Raptor. I wish I knew someone with a Predator so that I could ride it and get a feel for it, but since I don't, all I can do is ask questions....Thanks for the help!

Rupedawg, the Raptor is our buddies, the only real drag racing involved wasnt in a very big area to drag in,there is alot to take into consideration when it comes to a drag race and really, all depends on rider issues and just pure luck on the throddle..In our case, its gonna be pretty close stock for stock, ill have better idea when we get a day at the dunes to do a true sand drag...Now, Im confident in saying this..........On the trails, no doubt, the predator will fly on by in most cases(this has alot to do with rider issues also)! points you in the direction to the drop of a dime and a Raptor is gonna have a harder time keeping up cornering w/o tipping issues,Im sure Ill have an update on this also soon .. I think we are going to head up to Silver City here soon so Ill have more to tell you about it,
