I would like some help on this. This is what I have used,razor blade,dermel & air dermel tool,jig saws,hand saw. Just thought there has to be a better way.

look in racing catalogs there are siping tools, like a heated blade just slices like butter,, try someone like summit

Nac's used to sell a grooving tool, I am not sure if they still do, but it's basicly a highly heated blade that, as VORTEC57 said, goes through the knobbies like a hot knife through butter. When I got mine from them they were pretty cheap, less than $45 if I remember correctly. custome grooving your tires is very easy a quick with the correct tool.
