My Friend Keeps on saying how much better his dirt bikes are because the predator won't even touch them in a race what do you think ? he has a kx 125, 250 and 500.

My ridding buddy rides a 2000 Yamaha YZ 250. Due to the power issue and the wieght game, he does beat me. When I had stock gearing, after adding the pipe, K&N, and airbox holes, it was a very close race. Now that I went to a 13 tooth front sprocket, he beats me again. Dirt bikes are faster, but NO WAY better in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I have both a love both. But when it comes down to it, I prefer the Predator.

A dirt bike's biggest advantage is weight. A typical one is about 250 lbs, compared to our Predator at 415+.

I raced my Predator against my friend's piped Honda XR400 and it was a dead even tie every single time up to 65 mph when he'd start to pull away. I've concluded that the Predator has a top speed limiter built into the CD because for me it was like hitting a brick wall... it simply wouldn't accelerate anymore.

My buddy has a Kawi 500 two stroke bike. I couldnt touch him on my predator.

Of course, that would be in comparison to lining up the space shuttle next to a VW Beetle.
