Hey everyone I just got off the phone speaking with my sales rep at HMF and was speaking to him about the posibility of maybe firing up the machine to produce a head pipe. As stated to me by Kevin again they tested 5 different designs of head pipes and for the $ they just didn't see any real major power gains. I told him I thought there would be a market for the head pipe alone do to the fact that people are complaning about the fact of the rusting of the stock head pipe and people are buying the Trinity and other head pipes that are being made for that fact and that they know there is no real power gains to be achieved. Kevin told me that there could be a possiblity that the head pipe could be made again with the thoughts of it being for apperance and that the only real power gains will only be seen with either head work or a Big Bore Kit. So my question to you all is this would you buy an aftermarket head pipe for appearance only? I'm looking for Yes and No answers cause no answers at all won't help. Any other comments are very welcome! Thanks

I would say yes!! My stock header is starting to rust, and it is looking horrible. I would also hate to take off my header and have to wait to get it back from jet hot. Anyway there could be a red head made?

jet-hot offers bblack , silver, grey, and blue, but no red. they can have your pipe back out in 48 hours. I just spoke to Chris at Jet-Hot and he told me the our headpipes are still only $25 to have done. He said people may be getting different prices if they are not explaining what they have clearly.
