Hello,

I'm new to this site. I just bought a Predator 2 weeks ago and I love it so far. About the only thing I don't like are the handlebars. I feel like they're too low. I'm going to roll them forward a little to see if this helps but I have my doubts. I was wondering if anyone has replaced their bars with taller ones and if so, what brand and model? I appreciate any advice.

thanks,
Doc

Doc, most of us have had great luck with the Trail Tech bars. Most have bought the high bend along with the speedometer. Go to Trailtech.net, to check 'em out. Also a little pic and blurb in the July/August ATV Sport mag. You can buy them directly, or through places like Rocky Mountain ATV.

Thanks Modquad. It looks like they have 1 1/8" bars to go with their clamp. Does that mess with the stock perch & throttle setup? I thought the Pred has 7/8" bars? Wish they had a riser available because I'd like about 2" or 3" of rise.

Thanks,
Doc

Doc, if you are going to get the trailtech high bars they are only about 1/2 inch taller than the stockers. I have also been looking for taller 1 1/8 bars but haven't had any luck finding them.

Hi Mustang,

I was looking them over and it looks like I can mill a riser to go with them out of a piece of billet. I'll make a block about 1 1/2" to 2" and mount the Trailtech piece right to it. Looks like it should be pretty simple. Been building Harleys and fabricating stuff for years so this should be pretty easy. I'll need to order up the Trailtech kit first to see what I have to work with.
