OK I'm used to our Sportsman where you just grease the zerts now and then and go.

Well this weekend my wife and I went riding in Park Falls and put oon 4.5 hours of pure fun. The Predator saw lots of water, two sections were a bit deeper then I wanted but if that dang 14 year old girl on the Breeze could make it there was no way I could back out. :)

I did loose traction in the last water hole and my wife had to pull me out. The top of the front bumper was barely sticking out of the water. :) A different set of rear tires and I would have made it through. :(

Anyway I'm now just over 10 hours now on the bike and wonder due to the water riding just how far it needs to come apart and be re greased.

Thanks in advance!!

nothing needs to come apart, just hit the carrier and the front a-arms where they bolt to the frame, you can't miss the fittings

Take the swing arm bolt out and grease it. Oh, forgot to mention...I recently broke down the front and back suspension. There wasnt any grease in any of the shock mount bushings. Also, inside the front wheel bearings...dry as a bone. It would be a good idea to check those areas. Let us know if you find any grease in those areas or not.

Thanks guys,

I too was thinking that the swing arm needed to come out and get regreased. :( As far as the front wheel bearings I thought they were sealed bearings, at least that was the way they looked when I finally got a chance to go through my service manual.

Hmm... now the problem is getting the time to do the work. :)

Later,

I just pulled off the front shocks to lube the bushings. Dry as a bone. I think I'm going to go alot farther to check this thing out more.
