Ok so I had a bad day. I finally had a 3 hour span of time to try and get the upper bearings on the swing arm greased. I COULDN"T GET THE FRIGGEN MASTER LINK OFF THE **** CHAIN!!!!

Once you pull off the clip aren't they supposed to come apart pretty easy, at least the outer pice right behind the clip?

This is so frustraiting, I keep running out of time and the Pred just sitts on the lift. :( Oh well at least it looks good sitting there. :)

Due to being so short on time lately I have been thinking of just bringing it in to the dealership. :(

The next problem I see is the lower rear shock mount. How the heck am I going to torque it down if I can't get a socket on it? Looks like I will be taking another trip to Sears for a 5/8" Crow foot wrench. :( See this is what I get for owning mostly Foreign vehicles (Honda and Merkur) where everything is Metric. Now I have to start building up my Standard wrenches and sockets. :)

Ok so the correct tools would help but like I said time is short. Last week I put in 88 hours between my two jobs and I'm looking forward to this short 72 hour week. :) That and my Brother-in-law dropped off his X-Box and all his games saying he wasn't going to bring it with him to college and that I could use it till he gets back. Whooohoooo. He always gets the good games too!!! :)

Sorry for straying off the subject there. :)

Later and thanks for the up and coming advice. :)

If you don't want to mess with the chain, you can just unbolt the four bolts holding on the rear sprocket. You should be able to manuever things around then.

2min that was my first thought. :) I just need more sleep and more tools.

Honestly I could care less about riding it right now. It's like my last toy I sold, Merkur XR4TI. I had regular tools and then that thing came in mostly Torx fittings!! I think I have almost every size they made which at least I get to use some of them now on the Predator. :)

The good news is I get more tools now right? :)

Got home late last night and decided to dig into the Predator and see how far I could get since it has been sitting since July (no time).

Well this time I had the master link apart in 5 min! LOL Just pried the ends and it popped apart like it was supposed to. Next was the shock followed by the swing arm bolt.

All that is left is for me to get more time to greese the bearings and put it back together.

FYI just like Modquad mentioned you do not have to remove the rear brake assembly. I had my foot peg off since I will be installing Nerf bars so I just Zip tied the brake pedal down to the upper peg bolt. :) It cleared the bolt with room to spare. Woot woot. I can't wait to get back out and ride some more.
