Has anybody had trouble removing the float bowl screws? I want to change the main jet, but when I try to back the screws out to remove the bowl, they are starting to deform before they even begin to move. Everything is clean, the screwdriver is good (Snap-On) and fits well, and the machine has fairly low hours on it, like maybe 5 tanks of fuel. I gave up before I fubar'ed the **** thing, but I would still like to change the jetting. Any Suggestions?
Also of note: When I removed the throttle linkage cover to unhook the cable, it showed some signs of having seen a bit of moisture. Again, low hours and the machine hasn't been drowned. Might want to check yours out before the cable corrodes and snaps in the middle of the woods. I found this stuff called Fluid Film that displaces water and doesn't evaporate like WD-40 and it's friendly to nearly all materials because it's made from the wax from sheeps's wool (Lanolin). So it won't dry out the o-ring on the cover.
