How do you find new areas to ride? Is there a book, map or something. Am interested in Nevada,Oregon, Idaho areas.Tried doing searches on line at state sites with no luck. Also how does camping at any dunes area work? Do you just pull up drop and go or what? As you can tell I am new to dunes. Always rode in the hills or close to home. Thanks for the help. P.S. I like all types of riding terrain.

I usually start by doing an internet search.
There you will most likely find State Parks and local riding parks (they usually cost money). If that doesn't bring up what I'm looking for I then head over the the local ATV Shop and see if anyone there has any favorite riding areas... After that it's a stop at the side of the road when you see people riding and see if you can join.

Other than that I havn't found a web search that will do that for you.
Although that would be nice.
Dirtwheels mag has also been labeling riding areas state by state in their magazines... Maby their web page has a history of what they've already done.

Hope this helps.
