Well I figured since I havnt been on here in a long time I'd let you guys know how the extended swing arm came out. First of all the thing is a +4 made of mild steel(there is someone on this board that has a chromoly version). The unit looks nice unless u look up close at it. Everything fit as it was supposed to. The swing arm helped out a lot when going up the hill and when trying to launch. I probably didnt need it for the few mods I have but I thought it be nice to have. The downside of it was that the **** thing was mig welded and if you look closely at it the thing looks like someone did a crappy welding job and tried to get away with it by taking a grinder to it and making it smooth, then welding all the empty spots some more and then grinding again. Well anyhow I chose not to buy an extended brake line, but decided to just move the whole foot brake thingy back 2"s and welded it there(it looks nice...really!). It took a 106 link chain(I think). The s/a made for a smoother ride:) Overall Im happy with the product with the exception of there is no chain roller/slider mount and I wish the rear carrier had dual pinch bolts on each side isntead of one on each side as it seems to loosen up and causing me to readjust frequently. For the cost I think its actually well worth it. More than half the price of most other ones and its great cuz it uses the stock carrier and pivot bearings.

This I like (ALOT). I wish I could see it close-up, bring it and yourself down to WYO. We'll ride some big ass dunes. If I can'nt out race yea. Maybe I can out jump yea. J/K email me if you are this way.

Well, I have a Chromoly +4 one and it's about 8 pounds lighter than stock.. I beleive It's a great design. Mine utilizes the the stock chain slide and rollers... Very strong and durable... Sean from Double R is a great person to work with.. For being the first on the market they've got a great product..
Just my 2 cents...

Maybe it was my fault for telling Sean that I wanted no mounts or anything cuz I ended up having to drill the holes for the chain slider. All in all its great

oggjay, where did you get the chromoly one? I'd be interested in a 2 inch extension for more stability in the high speed dunes (plus, with the stock heel guards and the carrier rotated forward, I can't position my feet "correctly" ie, ball of my foot) only if I can lose a little weight in the process. Source and cost would be appreciated!
