What's the easiest way to tell if the balljoints have worn out? Don't you have to disconnct something to pay with the balljoint to see if it's loose?

put the front of the quad on a jack stand and grab the top and bottom of the tire. if there is play or slop in it when you wiggle it, you have bad ball joints.

I just checked mine... it's tight on the right and the microscopicly slight movement on the left is the wheel bearing, because I see nothing moving on the balljoints at all when I wiggle the wheel. Phew.

My TLD should be back from the dealer tomorrow... 4 new balljoints.. had the tie rods done a month back. I still like the bike though, wouldn't trade for anything.
